Traci Reed Designs CT Summer Camp Traveler's Notebook Layout

Hi friends and welcome back for a summary post today! I wanted to share the pages I created for the Traci Reed Creative Team in June with you, and I have a process video too! In June, Traci released her Summer Camp collection, which is a fantastic outdoorsy collection that has nothing to do with camping. I also participated in a scraplift of Stephanie Aldaco, and contributed to a Stars-themed blog post and I’m excited to share it all with you here! If you’d like to see the layouts I created for Traci Reed Designs in May, check out this post: Traci Reed Design May CT.

First, let me share my first layout with the Summer Camp collection! I pulled the badge shape from this collection and created about a million little badge shapes, and then printed them with the patterned papers in the collection. My trick for making that go quick is to repeat the badge shape over and over again in Photoshop, clip the patterned papers to the shape using the Clipping Mask, and print & cut with your Silhouette. I’ve arranged these mostly in a grid design, leaving space for some of the digital stamps. After adhering all those down, I added my photos and other embellishments to complete the page!

The scraplift layout I did was probably one of my all-time favorites. Stephanie Aldaco is such a creative human and I always love seeing what she creates next! We were tasked with selecting a layout from her to scraplift, so let me share her layout, and then share how I interpreted it! You can see the other team member’s scraplifts on Traci’s blog post here: Scraplift Saturday Stephanie Aldaco.

And this is my version. I chose this layout to scraplift because of its excellent page design. It’s both symmetrical and asymmetrical at the same time! Her layout was very neutral, while mine is colorful and has a lot more energy. Both layouts are so pretty and fun!

For our Stars Themed blog post, I created this navy star-studded layout featuring the Ex Libris Galaxias collection. This collection is perfect for book lovers, for wizardry fans, and as you can see here for school day documenting too! You can see the team’s layouts here: Ways To Work It Wednesday Stars.

Today’s layout is from my traveler’s notebook album. I am using the Citrus Twist Life Crafted album in Peacock, which I absolutely love for its ability to add in pages and move them around. For this page I added a vellum insert. I printed this swerve-y patterned paper right onto vellum, which is then layered in the album on top of this stunning sunset on the water in Port Royal. You can see this layout and so many others using this collection on Traci’s blog here: Introducing Summer Camp.

My journaling is housed on a patterned paper from the signatures in the Summer Camp collection. I layered a journal card right on top, with a few embellishments. I added a few word stamps and enamel dots for the centers of the flowers. The vellum has blue, yellow, and rust colors, so I made sure those show up on this side of the page as well.

For the photo, I kept the embellishments at the bottom of the page, mainly so it wouldn’t interfere with the vellum badge on top. I’ve used a few of the stickers from the collection, namely the label, rainbow, and flowers that appeared before on the layout.
