Scrappy Christmas In July | December Daily 2019 Day 07
Welcome back to Scrappy Christmas In July, Lovelies! I am so excited each year to participate in this fun project share every July, created by Tracey Fox. Be sure to follow her on Instagram and also follow the hashtag #scrappychristmasinjuly so you can participate and be inspired to work on your December projects too! Today I am sharing my process for Day 7 in my 2019 December Daily. If you’d like to see more of this project, follow this link: Larkindesign December Daily 2019. Let’s check out today’s video!
When I created my Foundation Pages, I had already chosen Felicity Jane products to use here, so I continued with my original plan. This is what the Foundation Page looked like for Day 7:
My idea for this page was to use the Christmas tree transparency layered between two card stock pages so the trees could show through the punched circles. I only had one of the pre-made circle pages (also Felicity Jane), so I had to make my own backer for the sandwich.
I loved how that turned out, and then I added my number onto the bottom circle to notate the date. For my pocket page, I had 2-4×6 pockets, so I built on those for my story of the day. Both Natalie and I had been sick for a couple of weeks during that time. I took a photo of my cup of tea because that was really the only thing that was helping my throat at the time! For my top card I layered a couple of journaling cards on top of that gorgeous floral, and then added the die cut girl as embellishment. I also used one of the epoxy circles and added the title, all from Felicity Jane.
That was short and sweet today! Thanks so much for joining me and I will see you again soon!
