Light The Path July 2020 Prompt Previews
Hello everyone and welcome to the July 2020 Light The Path Prompt Previews! Each month in our workshop we share prompts, exercises, and a thoughtfully designed digital scrapbook collection to inspire you to document your healing journey. I am so excited to announce our incredible designer this month, Meagan Johnson of The Practical Scrapper. The concept this month is Our Inner Child. We will be focusing on healing those hurts that stem from our childhood, you know the ones that nag at us and beg us for attention. We each have an inner child and this child sometimes is still looking for the compassion and love you longed for long ago. This month we are going to love on our inner child and create space within ourselves to nurture them.
I invited Meagan to create products this month to honor our inner child using images of playful children. She has incorporated soft, comforting colors and organic icons that encourage growth. Her journaling cards allow space for documenting notes of love and affirmation for our inner child, and I think you will love working with her beautiful collection!
Our mission with Light The Path is to affirm healing through art and creativity, and this month we will affirm our inner child by digging in deep in order to provide the safety and comfort they need. Our inner child is one of our most important guides to light the path to healing, won’t you join us on this adventure?

I’m so honored to play even a small part on people’s path to healing and recovery. I continually sought inspiration as I created this kit. It spoke to my childhood…the sweetness and curiousity of my inner core that still exists in me! I loved exploring that as I created.
