Light The Path The First Six Months Full Album Walk Through

Hello Lovelies! Today I am so excited to share with you what it looks like to document six months of healing! I have been developing the Light The Path Workshop over the past year, and documenting this project since January, and wanted to share my album project with you. This album has been so very affirming and has allowed me and the Light Bearers in the workshop to go deeper in our healing, while expressing ourselves creatively. If you’d like to see more about the monthly prompts that have been released so far, check out this link on our blog: Light The Path. If you’d like to learn more about the project, you can see all the details here: Light The Path Website. Let’s have a look at my album!

I thought this would be a great opportunity to share some of my favorite layouts with you, to give you a better idea of what this project entails. Each month I have developed a concept for that month and share creative exercises with our workshop members. They also receive a digital collection created by designers in our scrapbooking community that are designed to inspire us to document our journey. This project came to life because I wanted to be able to work through difficult emotional healing work and document it in a way that was positive for me, instead of feeling defeated. Seeing products come to life designed especially for healing is amazing!!! I am so happy to share them with you!

This layout was one of the first layouts, and the prompt was to journal about five things that we are proud of ourselves for. I made the parameter that it had to be things about ourselves as persons, not in relationship to others (so, not I’m a great mom but rather I am a thinker, I am intelligent, so on and so forth). This was so empowering and this can be recreated any time you need to pick yourself up! Designer for the above collection: Elif Sahin of Sahin Designs.

Part of our work in March was to think about how we can develop spaces around us that are comforting to us, especially as we work to identify triggers from past painful experiences. I created this art journal layout to document my creative space. This is a constant reminder to me that spending time in here is healing for me, and that this is the space that I get to determine the energy that enters. Do you have a space like this? I encourage you to do that, and also to document what that space means to you!

Our concept for May was all about the Things I Need to Hear. We photographed the light as we see it around our home or as we were going through our days, and I found that all the places where the light came in are my favorite places at home! The designer for March and May was Neftali Zambrano!

April was particularly meaningful to me, our concept was to Honor Our Emotions and we did some incredible work around accepting our emotions as guide for living. Our designer for April was Elif of Sahin Designs.

June we discovered One Beautiful Thing about ourselves, one truth that we get to own and claim and love even if others tried to squash it. This prompt as well can be repeated over and over again, as we learn new and beautiful things about ourselves every day. Our designer for that month was Allison Pennington.

I am so incredibly thankful to everyone who has shown love and support of this project, and I am especially thankful to our designers who have poured their love and talent into this project as well! This project has the power to heal your heart and soul, and we would love to have you join us. Click the image below to sign up today!
