Sahlin Studio Creative Team | Hybrid Scrapbook Layout With September 2022 Monthly Template

Hi friends and welcome back! Today I am happy to share a new Monthly Template for September from the Sahlin Studio blog with you! This is my take on this fun template that makes space for tons of photos. I recently realized that I haven’t really documented much of our 2019 Disney trip within our kids’ albums (shock, I know!), so this is the perfect opportunity to do just that! Because this was a Disney themed page, of course I had to pull from Project Mouse to help it come to life! I chose Project Mouse Vibes, because it’s such a universal kit that goes with anything, and also because I thought it would be fun to do black and white with pops of color. Perfect! The photos I chose are mostly from Magic Kingdom, with one from the Skyliners on our way to Hollywood Studios. The Castle stands out so beautifully and easily takes center stage, making the kit choice even better! Notice how I added some of the digital stamps to my layout and printed those directly onto the patterned papers. This makes the best home bases for other embellishments added right on top!

Notice how I also brought in a few embellishments and stamps from Elle’s Studio. No layout is complete without a few puffy stickers, you know?! You can also see how I changed the template by making that diagonal patterned paper a little bit bigger than the template called for. I also left out one of the patterned paper blocks altogether – in some ways that was an accident but it all works out beautifully in the end. That is the magic of these great templates, they make it so easy to change up however you like.
