October Daily 2021 Days 27 Through 31
Hi friends and welcome back to my blog! Today I am sharing a recap of the layouts I’ve completed this week in my 2021 October Daily album! The album is now complete and I will return on the 27th to share a full flip through with you, but until them you can get caught up on all the videos in this album series here: 2021 October Daily. Let’s get started!
Day 27 Flip Out With Circles
My story for Day 27 was once again all about our back patio. We love spending quiet time out here and after adding the fire pit I couldn’t get over how dreamy the space is! Especially in fall, when the weather cools down a bit and it’s comfortable out there. I wanted to keep this page to one side of the layout and incorporate a full page photo, so I did a flip out. I also wanted to include more then just one photo, so I punched the extra photos into 2.5″ circles and adhered those to the top. The top of the flip out is a beautiful ledger paper from Pinkfresh Studio Days of Splendor, which is the most beautiful soft pink/orange and it creates a perfect background for the floral cluster. The florals are from One Canoe Two Willow, and the wood veneer piece is Elle’s Studio. The Home word art is from my stash, and the number 27 is from Sahlin Studio, December Days No 06.

Day 28 Addison and Me | Double Interactive Spider Web
This page was sooo much fun to create! I love using found objects in my albums, meaning items I’ve discovered while out shopping that come from outside the scrapbooking industry. These web banners I believe were from Dollar Tree and the spiders were from World Market. My story for this day is a photo of Addison and me, and the photo shows off his new tattoo. I thought it would be super fun to have the web swivel out on a brad, and have the spider so it could crawl up the web. The two halves of the web were perfect because they already had holes punched and one edge could cover the other edge. I used an elastic cord (Hobby Lobby) to create the channel the spider crawls up on. The spider is attached to the cord by stapling a tiny bit of ribbon onto her under side. The cluster for my journaling is mostly from Elle’s Studio. It was really simple to create!

Day 29 The Party Table With Pop Up 3D Elements
The layout for this day has launched me into a whole new obsession of incorporating 3D elements into albums. I thought it would be cool to use these x’s and o’s to create a pop up on the page. I found these at Target, they were part of a tic tac toe game. I’ve used the o’s to house photos of our party table for Halloween. I then create folded boxes to prop the letters up. They are joined by the second box holding up the x’s. My background papers are from Fancy Pants A Little Bit Scary and the puffy titles are Pebbles American Crafts.

Day 30 was previously shared here, but I want to include it here too so it’s all together in order. This was a layout I did for the Traci Reed Designs Creative Team with the Moonlit collection! I’ve used the stunning papers from that collection as my background and then cut the flame with my Silhouette using one of the stickers in the kit!

Day 31 Halloween With Photo Collage and 2×2 Pockets
My layout for Halloween began with two very simple photo collages. I already had a foundation page done with the adorable 2×2 pockets, so I added the 2×2 word art from Pebbles and left it as is. The photos are housed on two collages which is the perfect way to tell the story of our fun spooky night being dressed up and watching the neighborhood children celebrate! I’ve added an embellishment cluster to each collage, on the left it houses my journaling and the super cool Thriller Night wood veneer (Colorcast Designs). My favorite part is that we were dressed up as well, I was Little Red Ridinghood, Alan was The King, and River was Emilia from Rezero. My favorite photo from around the neighborhood is the super blurry photo of the tiny dinosaurs, chicken and rooster hurrying along to get to all the houses. It just cracked me up so much and the artwork from Simple Stories Vintage Halloween was perfect to go with it! I kept the embellishments overall to a minimum on this page, since the 2×2 insert holds all the fun bits.

And there we go, 2021 October Daily is complete. There is one more layout that is also complete but it will be shared on the Traci Reed blog on the 26th. After that I will return with the full flip through of this album and will share the photo from each day here all in one place. I can’t wait, see you then!
