In My Pocket Theme Parks Volume 02 | Announcing Guest Contributors Plus A New Feature!!!

Hey everyone! Hello Disney Fans! Last week we announced our upcoming class, In My Pocket Theme Parks Volume 02, and today I wanted to share our exciting line-up of Guest Contributors who will be sharing inspiration in the classroom. I am delighted to invite others to share their work with you so that you can see all the many different ways there are to document your vacation memories. I can’t wait for you to see what they are up to, you are going to love it all! If you’d like to learn more about my own Disney album, check out this link: 2020 Disney Album.

I also want to share that this class will have a bit of a different feature this year! We have a co-host who will be joining us and she will be creating some fun challenges (with prizes!) for you! Our co-host is Meg Gundlach! You probably know her, but if you don’t then you should follow her and you should know she is our best cheerleader, a knock-out designer, and amazing friend. Welcome Meg as co-host!

Meg Gundlach

Hi! I’m Meg but you may know me better online as TravelScrapSleepRepeat. Born and raised in Wisconsin, I’ve spent most of my adult life living in Wales with my awesome partner, Ken. I started scrapbooking when I was 12, levelled up by working in a local scrapbook store at 16, and never stopped documenting. Normally a chronic wanderer, I’m currently housebound like most of the world and I’m taking full advantage of this pause to catch up on my past adventures.

We took the ‘trip of a lifetime’ tour to Walt Disney World in 2018 to celebrate my youngest brother’s High School graduation. With 6 adults on board, we set out an itinerary to do allthethings and I have 2 huge albums of pocket pages to prove it. This is truly a passion project for me and I love every minute of reliving the best ever family vacation. Find Meg here:

Jenna Fortner

Hi all,

I’m Jenna, a Disney Parks lover and scrapbooker who lives in Fort Worth, Texas. My husband’s work often took him to Orlando and I tagged along every chance I got! When there are no work related trips in our plans, we try to come up with a reason to go again anyway. Let’s celebrate this or celebrate that, whatever it takes. And, I enjoy scrapbooking all of it! I am primarily an App Scrapper. I’ve made my way through every form of scrapbooking and love them all, but in this season of life the motto I’ve had to apply to my scrapbooking is, “Keep it Simple, Scrapper!” If you too keep things simple, don’t compare yourself to anyone else. Draw inspiration? Yes, absolutely! Scraplift? That too!! We all have different styles and methods for scrapbooking and it’s all good so enjoy the magical ride.

Ashley Krueger

Hi, I am Ashley, and I am so excited to be here! When we aren’t hanging out at The Happiest Place on Earth, my husband, two little ones, and I are exploring the rural mountains of Eastern Arizona. I usually describe myself as a Disney addict, food lover, forest dweller, crafter and sometimes blogger. I was first introduced to scrapbooking when helping my grandmother put albums together for her two daughters after she was diagnosed with cancer. It was a surreal experience to be so intrigued by a craft and also so saddened by it, but my love for documenting my life has only continued to grow. After following a lot of trends in the many years since, I have learned that my favorite styles of memory keeping are mixed paper minibooks, and pocket style scrapbooking. I love mixing both approaches to document our trips. Our Disney trips are my most favorite to document as they usually include our extended family as the Disneyland Parks are a halfway point between our home now and where my family lives. It makes it all so magical!

Lynnette LeBaron

From the first time I set foot in a newly opened scrapbook store at age 13, I’ve been hooked on memory keeping. I have dabbled with different things through the years, but I really hit my stride when my son was born in 2005 and I learned about Photoshop and digital scrapbooking. The ease and small footprint of digital scrapbooking have really made it possible for me to keep creating pages and documenting our memories with four kids and all the chaos that comes with it. I find that although I love pocket pages and traditional layouts equally, pocket pages have become my go to – especially when I have a lots of photos. They are perfect for capturing all our Disney memories!

Beyond memory keeping & Disney, I love going to rock concerts and hiking/exploring the outdoors any chance I get.
