December Daily 2022 Day 08 | Moving The Living Room With Ali Edwards

Hi friends and welcome back to December Daily 2022! Today I am sharing a super quick Day 08 with you, telling the story about how it always seems that we move the entire living room around every time we put up the Christmas tree! I think it’s super fun and important to document the funny things we say – as a result of things that we do or things that happen – in our scrapbooks and it’s something I don’t do often enough. But this seemed like a great story to tell along with my photo of our living room as it was in the middle of all the moving! When I printed out my two page photo I realized that the left side was kind of a weird photo of just the back of the chair, so I decided I would do a working title on that side, with a transparency for my day number, and some very simple embellishment on the right side. I grabbed these Pinkfresh alphabets that came in my Clique Kits It’s A Wonderful Life kit to create that title, using some of the upper case letters to emphasize certain words on the page. For the transparency, I added a very simple wood grain 8 and a lighter green puffy word strip, and also a tab from Felicity Jane. Mostly I added the tab because the transparency is a little shorter than my 7″ pages. Once you flip the transparency you can see the rest of the image, that I added the label for my journaling. I embellished it with the Falala and kraft heart and it’s done.

Simple stories, simple layouts seems to be what I am putting into this album this year, and I am loving the lower pressure and ease of it. Thanks so much for joining me! See you again soon.
