Clique Kits Creative Team | Art Journal Collage Layout With the Chromatics Sea Sky Palette Kit

Hi friends! Today I have a collage page for you that I’ve created with the Clique Kits Chromatics Sea Sky Palette Kit! This kit is filled with gorgeous patterned papers and special embellishments from AB Studio, Prima Marketing, and also Aquarelle Dreams. This layout began with these stunning transparent dragonflies included in the Chromatics Kit! Of course they needed an equally gorgeous background, which I laid out using the patterned papers in the kit. I especially loved this giant blue dragonfly and placed it on the diagonal to the left. Everything else followed this dramatic diagonal line for the rest of my process. To balance out the dramatic blue I added a strip of more blue dragonflies along the far right, and then I filled in the rest of the layout with cut up sections of a more neutral patterned paper. To create an interesting vibe on the page, I added the transparent dragonflies and some of the punched ones as well. The kit included this fabulous die so I used a specialty paper I found at Michaels. This added an iridescent almost glittery look to the page! My photo is also located on this side along with a cut word strip from one of the 6×6 Prima papers.

I am completely loving how ethereal the transparencies look! I attached them with glue dots and folded the wings up a bit so they look like they are floating above the page. There is so much dimension on this page. I created a working title here using an older set of alphabet stamps from Prima Marketing. I also stamped a few single butterfly wings around the page with an old wood block stamp from my stash.
