Traci Reed Creative Team YouTube Hop | 6×8 Scrapbook Layout With Felicity Digital Kit!
Hi friends and welcome back! Today I am participating in a super awesome YouTube Hop along with the Traci Reed Designs Creative Team in order to celebrate the brand new release of the Felicity Digital Kit! This is a wonderful collection that will help you invite spring into your scrapbooks this month and we hope you are inspired by our layouts! I’ve created a page to start off March in my 6×8 Life Crafted album. If you’d like to see other layouts from this album project, check this link: 2023 Life Crafted Album. Follow along with my process video below.
My story for this layout began with a photo I took of mine and Alan’s feet walking on a really old brick sidewalk while we were on our Valentine’s Day date. I thought this was a great photo to bring us into March in this album. For my background of my layout, I created a canvas in Photoshop using two of the Felicity patterned papers. One of the digital elements was this lovely round frame I knew I wanted to use for my photo. I also really loved the definition embellishments, so all of these combined for my base pages.
Another element I pulled from the kit were the gorgeous florals. They were printed onto vellum for a little bit of see-through effect and they tucked beautifully around the hybrid elements and the photo. Speaking of the photo, I printed that onto photo paper along with the round frame and then had the Silhouette cut out the irregular circle to layer over top of the digital frame. It adds just the best texture here.
My other favorite elements from the kit were these butterflies! They became the star of the layout when I added them to the embellishment clusters and I can’t get over how textured they are!The last thing I did was create a little spot for my journaling at the top, using some of the strip labels in the kit and few other tiny bits as well. I am loving these mixed-media type layouts using digital backgrounds.
Thank you so much for joining me today for our YouTube Hop! I hope you are inspired to create!
