October Daily 2021 | Album Organization and Prep
Hi friends and welcome to a brand new project that I have never undertaken before! October Daily has captured my imagination (and my scrapbook room!) and this year I have decided to participate. October Daily is a spin-off from Ali Edwards’ December Daily project, in which we create an album and document one story for each day of the month. I love the challenge of taking photos and gathering stories for each day of the month because it helps me pay attention to the happy parts of the month. I also love creating fun albums that can be enjoyed long after the month is over. For today’s post I wanted to talk a little bit about what I am doing during the month of October, as I haven’t been able to create day-to-day just yet. I do have a video for you, which is just an overview of my supplies and products. I seem to have done a great job of collecting product! Ha! Take a look at what I am working with.
So the product is all the fun stuff, isn’t it? But what about the work part, you know, the actual putting together of the album? I have always believed that if you have a great plan, are organized, then the actual creating part of the project gets to be a lot of fun. So this month has really been about pulling together supplies and making time to take photos throughout the month. I also have been keeping a running list of page ideas.
Aren’t those helpful? I also thought I would share some of the new products I have purchased, in case you needed a bit of enabling. (Not affiliated links)
