Hi friends! It is Ashley again and I can hardly believe it is already December and we’ve come to the end of 2021 Light the Path Workshop. Today I am sharing my photography prompt. There were two to choose from this month and I decided to highlight 12 photos from this last year.
For these 12 photos, I tried to select one from each month of my Light the Path project but I also included ones that I feel embodied some of the emotions I experienced throughout my healing journey. Once I had my photos chosen, I printed them at 1.3 inch squares.
I wanted to focus on the photos so I used a piece of plain white cardstock as the background. I arranged them in four rows of 3 photos each. Underneath, I used one of the digital papers that Allison Pennington designed for the December kit. I printed it at 2x6in. Then I added my typed out journaling to add on top.
In my album, I chose to pair this page with a 3×8 pocket page insert. This insert is home to more journaling and my favorite card from Allison’s kit. I created this pocket myself and used two of the digital washi tapes to close up the cut edge.
Thank you for checking out my post today. I am so grateful for the Light the Path workshop and all the time and love Theresa and the designers have put into making it what it is, Also, a huge thanks to those of you who have followed along with my projects and those of our whole design team this year.
