Hi everyone and welcome back! Today I have a extra sparkly hybrid scrapbook layout for you, using the newest Project Mouse collection called POP! Don’t you just love when you see a product and you know exactly what you want to do with it? That is what happened with this layout, and oh wow, it turned out so fun. As soon as I saw this extra cool, funky fun scripted paper, I knew I wanted to cut parts of it out and back it with glitter paper! I absolutely love how digital products give you so much flexibility and printed out they look stunning. I went over to Michael’s and purchased a bunch of glitter paper and then chose ones that matched best to the original colors in the pattern. I then brought the digital paper into my Silhouette software, had it Trace the scripted words, and then cut them out from the printed page.
The next part took a little time and hand cutting, but it was so worth it. I traced around the scripted words on the back of the glitter card stock and then rough cut around them. I made the cuts a bit bigger than the words themselves, so that it didn’t have to be exact. I then also traced the word onto a plain card stock piece and adhered all of the glitter pieces to that. This turned out so cool and I am totally in love with it!
My story for this layout was about how we stayed at Disney’s Art of Animation when we went back in 2019, and Natalie fell in love with all the concept art in the foyer. The drawings and sketches are absolutely amazing, and it really inspired her to start creating her own art. That made me so happy, to see both our girls connect with the creative side of Disney. So much inspiration, so much creativity. I tucked a few of the elements around the photo along with a few enamel hearts and dots, from Citrus Twist. I also added two of those adorable heart clips. They are from the Recollections product collab with Paige Evans!
I also added a little rainbow cluster at the top of the page. The blue ticket is the base and then the heart clip and the shooting star are supporting actresses. Such a fun and bold layout! Thanks so much for joining me today, see you again soon!
