Clique Kits July Blog Hop | This Is Me Scrapbook Layout

I have been having so much fun with my July Regatta kit from Clique Kits this month! The collections from Fancy Pants, Kesi’Art, and Carta Bella came together for some really fun summer themed layouts. This is the layout I created for today’s Blog Hop.

I was so much in love with the Amy Tangerine bows that were part of the kit and were also available to purchase in the July Add-ons! So they were my starting point, along with a fun photo I had of myself taken from a recent Instagram Story.I decided to cut a quick cut file using one of the colors of the bows – the mint green/light blue. The cut file is available in my shop for free, if you would like you can download it here.

The cut file has lovely circles that I wanted to highlight and also use as a home base for other embellishments and my journaling. So I have used circle punches to punch two different size circles – the 2″ and the 1 3/4″ punches. The 2″ circles are adhered underneath the cut file to fill in some of the background.

I then layered the smaller circles in different places around the layout, and added bows to some of the intersecting points of the cut file. Then I added my journaling strips plus a few fun dimensional embellishments to those circles as well. For my title I used the glitter alphabet from the May Clique Kit which are from Dear Lizzy. I love when you can pull in products from previous kits to get more mileage from your supplies!

My journaling was created very quickly on a canvas in Photoshop and then printed on matte card stock. I chose to list a few things about myself right now, at almost 45 years old. I actually turn 45 in October, so I did a little tongue in cheek on the title and added the Almost with asterisks. These are the fun things I listed out:

• crazy talented
• kicking butt every day
• self-aware and self-sufficient
• conscientious and loving parent
• loves color and pattern
• not taking crap from anybody
• believes in magic and the afterlife
