2018 Project Life Introduction Layout ft. Out With The Old and Crate Paper Good Vibes!!
***To learn more about this album and my setup look out for my upcoming class, In My Pocket Memory Keeping Volume 2!! Coming soon!!!***
Hi guys, today I am sharing the Introduction layout in my 2018 Project Life album! I am so thrilled to begin another year of memory keeping in a weekly format. I am using my own brand new digital collection called Out With The Old, along with Crate Paper’s Good Vibes physical collection!
I am so excited to start this project again this year! This is my seventh year doing Project Life, and I love this format. I am especially excited that this year I will be creating my own products to use in these albums. I hope this layout is inspirational for you!
Since this is the introduction layout, this is a good time to include who the album is about. This is a snapshot of who we are right at this moment in time. I began with two photos we took back around Thanksgiving last year, so fairly recent. I then just filled in with my favorite journaling cards from the Out With The Old collection.
For my title card I really liked this word art from the Crate Paper Good Vibes collection. We can all use some good vibes this year, can’t we?! I layered embellishments onto the black and white Marks card for fun, and I added our intitial plus our names and ages. The line stamp is from the 2017 Paislee Press December Daily product offerings, available at Ali Edwards’ website.
I added just the tiniest of embellishments to our photo. A good formula is a label, a word sticker, and a chipboard piece!
Some of the cards need no embellishing at all, and for the start here card I only added the tiniest glitter asterisk. Those are some of my favorite cards in the collection! Same for the year card – it needed only a little more glitter and a word stamp. That roller stamp is from Becky Higgins Project Life and still remains one of my most used products I own!

See you again soon!
