TBT Project Life 2015 Final Layout! Weeks 27- 30

Alright, guys, I am so ready to finish up this album and I have literally smashed four weeks into two pages. Have a look at my process video for these last two pages in the 2015 album!

Ok, so these layouts are back to back, and I placed them into the same photo to show you the layouts to start:

And these are the layouts completed:

So for both of these layouts I didn’t have a lot of photos, and the dates on the photos span a total of about four weeks. And you know what? That really is ok. At this point in the album, it is safe to say that I have documented the year of 2015 rather well, and so smashing these weeks together really is ok. For the first layout, Weeks 27 & 28, I chose some of Shimelle’s products to bring the layout together.

These products are from Shimelle’s True Stories collection, and I chose it because of the bright, happy colors and the fun elements. The transparency is an older one from Allison Kreft/Webster’s Pages from several years ago.

I have used that transparency across the page and then I like to staple elements to the top of the page protector on this side.

One of my favorites embellishments from this collection are the wooden buttons! They are a little thick for the small pockets, but I used them anyway. They are too much fun to not use. Here is a look at this layout inside the album:

For the next layout I still used the same collection, and now I chose one of Shimelle’s journaling cards for the date card.

For the transparencies on this side, I simply used red line tape to adhere the elements on top of the page protector. I also love the look of the vellum word strips on top of this red flower. So pretty!

In the spirit of simplicity and getting things done, I left the yellow card just as it was. Notice how I have used the floral embellishments in the corners so they don’t take over.

I used another flower in the bottom corner, this one is blue. These colors are a lot of fun to work with and they seem to flow seamlessly in with the rest of the album.

Part of me finds it hard to believe that this project is done, but the rest of me is incredibly excited. I will post a video tomorrow to celebrate completing this and to announce what is coming up next in the TBT series! I will see you then!
