Storyline Layout | In The Borough ft Heidi Swapp Honey And Spice

Hi everyone, today I am excited to share another scrapbook layout in my Storyline album! This album project is a notebook-style album I am creating to document some of my favorite stories about my relationship with my husband Alan. Storyline is an album system created by Heidi Swapp, and I am loving working in this size. You can see more layouts from this album at this link: Storyline Chapters. Follow my process for this layout!
At the end of October, Alan and I had a bit of pandemic cabin fever, so we travelled over to Greensboro, NC, just to walk around and see some shops and things. I took just a few photos while we were waiting at a cross walk and as we went through the cross walk over the railroad tracks. Of course, we practiced social distancing and I took my photo while we were walking so we did not stop on the train tracks! I loved the feeling of motion that the photos brought to the layout, and I have used a grid layout to show those photos.

I have mentioned previously how much I am loving Heidi Swapp’s recent collections! They are the perfect blend of romance, travel, and all delivered with such sophistication and just the right amount of vintage. I took the large florals from Honey & Spice and fussy cut them for the base of my layout. I placed one on each side and then layered my photo grid directly on top. I love how those florals just peek through around the edges. On the right hand side, I placed the floral at the top and then layered my title and journaling directly on top. The transparent tag was perfect for my title! Underneath my photo I added another embellishment cluster, using only word strips and a few stamps. The star stamps are such a fun addition to the entire page.

For my left hand side, I placed the floral on the bottom left edge, which was where I had left a blank spot in the grid. This also then left the perfect spot for a cluster of tags! I also stamped just the one word onto the top photo and added the die cut to the bottom photo. I kept this so simple, and it works beautifully.

Such a simple layout, but also very striking with the giant floral and these awesome photos from our home town! Thanks so much for following along with me today, see you again soon!

Hi!
I loved this layout and would love any of the templates you have for the HS Storyline books. I always struggle with what size to print my photos. Thank you!
