TBT Project Life 2014 Week 20 | Charming Edition Core Kit and Dear Lizzy Serendipity!
Hi guys, today’s TBT layout takes us further along in my 2014 house construction project. I am so excited to show you the brand new Charming Edition Core Kit from Becky Higgins today and you are going to love it. Here is my process:
Here is the layout I began with, photos and journal cards chosen and in place.
And the completed layout here.
So I mentioned in my video that I have divided up this Core Kit and am offering the divided kits in my Etsy shop. Go have a look if you’re dying to get your hands on it – I promise you will love it so much: Larkindesign.
I started this layout actually in the lower corner because I couldn’t wait to use those gold words from Dear Lizzy. Those are simply layered over the circle I cut from one of the journaling cards, on a vellum that is from another Dear Lizzy collection (Lucky Charm, I believe).
Above that are some of the 3×4 journaling cards that are included in the Charming Core Kit. That chevron is to die for.
My circle date is here, from Paislee Press. I am doing this consistently throughout this portion of the album so the date is easily found on the layout. I am really happy about how these look!
This constellation map is an embellishment from the Serendipity ephemera pack that I have been (hoarding) holding onto for a while now. Next to that is one of the gold foiled cards from the Charming Kit. A note about the foiled cards: they were singles in the kit, so those have been divided up and each of the divided kits I have in my shop include different foiled cards. Which cards come in which kit is photographed, so you can choose which ones are your favorite!
The other side of the layout is actually two stories – one about Muffins with Mom and then the construction progress for the day. I really loved using the donuts for this layout, since Muffins with Mom turned out to be Donuts with Mom. Ha.
These are more of the 3×4 cards from the Charming Kit. The artwork in this kit is beautiful.
Check out this polka dot. I would love full papers in this!
Look at these cuties. I love this project so much, you guys.
I hope you enjoyed this layout and are inspired with some ideas for your own projects! I will not be posting tomorrow as this was not only a holiday week, but I also have one child with a broken arm this week and so helping her has taken away from some production time for sure! But I will see you back here next week with a full production schedule and lots of fun projects. Have a great weekend!

I like the perspective given in the bottom right photo on the left hand page. Looking from the front of the house up towards the sky.
