Larkindecember | December Daily Album 2017 Days 12 and 13!!!

Hello lovelies, today I am continuing on past the half way point in my 2017 December Daily Album with Days 12 and 13! I hope you will be patient with me as I recover from this stupid cold!

Let’s start with Day 12. Here is the layout as foundation pages:

For the previous day I had removed the full page protector on the left and added an insert. For Day 12 I added one of the 4×8 foiled tags from Ali Edwards.

On the back of the tag I adhered a photo of Addison placing his ornaments on the tree. I added my journaling on the right hand side and numbered the day using the wood veneer tree and black number stickers in the Paislee Press Mini Kit. The story for today is for Addison, who particularly loves hanging the ornaments every year!

Day 13 as a foundation page:

This may be one of my all-time favorite layouts ever. For my story and photo I wanted to be sure to document what our wrapping papers and tags looked like this year, so I spread a few on the kitchen floor and snapped a couple of photos.

There was a lovely transparency there already from Felicity Jane, with the number 13 already added. I positioned my photo underneath the number and then clustered my embellishments above the photo.

One thing you will notice different from the process video is that I went back and added a few white splatters to this page! I didn’t capture that on film, but when I went to photograph this page, I realized it needed some white to tie in the photo border with the background paper.

I am loving this project so much again this year! I hope you are inspired as well!
