Larkindecember | December Daily Album 2017 Days 08 and 09

Hi everyone, today is a two-day process video sharing Days 08 and 09 from my 2017 December Daily Album. We had snow here in NC and have been enjoying it all weekend!

Here is a closer look at Day 08 as a foundation page. All products from Felicity Jane.

Foundation pages offer a secret joy that I don’t hear mentioned very often, but nevertheless once or twice during the whole month I experience this. Sometimes you create foundation pages and then when you get to that day in the month, the story is PERFECT for that day and it all comes together in ways that surely make angels sing! This was one of those pages.

I allow my foundation pages to sort of guide me on how I want to crop and print my photos for each day. For this day we had unexpected snow and I realized the photo of the street from our front door belonged underneath this transparency. I wanted to keep the red background and the contrasting white, so I cut the photo in a circle inside the wreath. This makes me so excited!

I also added a photo of the weather forecast plus another of the trees behind our house. This layout was super quick!

Our story for Day 09 was still about the snow – we took some time to go out in it and sled and play! Lots of photos here, so I added a 3×8 insert.

I loved that star patterned paper from the Ali Edwards main kit, so I kept it and layered my full page photo on top, and then the large number 9 on top of that. For the insert, I kept it so simple and only added the tiny tab, also from the main kit.

I changed out two of the journal cards and added my journaling, and that was all this day needed to be complete!

These days are going by faster and faster, but I am so thankful that they are being captured in this little book. See you tomorrow!
