Larkindecember | December Daily Days 02 and 03!!!!
Hi everyone! In this process video I am sharing my layout for Day 02 in my 2017 December Daily album. My story for this day is event-based – a fun trip downtown Kernersville for Christmas Around the World. I am using products from Ali Edwards Main Kit, the Paislee Press Mini Kit, and a few found items! Watch my process for Day 02 here:

Our story for the day was about visiting downtown Kernersville for Christmas Around the World. This is a day where all the shops open up for food, shopping, and good fun. They give the kids passports to get stamped at each shop, and of course they loved all the food!

The insert for Day 02 is a found object from one of the shops downtown called Jane. It’s a vintage letterboard star that I cut down a little and punched. I also found the little Santa ornament and added a tiny tassel from Crate Paper Snow and Cocoa. He will most likely live on the outside of the album, but for today he is part of this layout. He is so cute!

Today’s story is about decorating our home for the holidays. I had a few photos from decorating the outside of the house, and I wanted to be sure to document how we shopped on Black Friday for our newest decorations this year.
I wanted to play with the star die that was part of the December Daily Release from Ali Edwards this year. I had this sheet of glitter card stock from Hobby Lobby, so I cut it down to 5.5″x8.5″ and ran it through my Evolution die cutter several times. I then carefully snipped one of the tiny stars apart from the rest and filled in some of the spots with the die. I also added just two tiny word stickers. They are from the Paislee Press mini kit.
The photos are both on the right hand side, along with my journaling about finding our new decorations on Black Friday. I have never gone out on Black Friday before this year! The number 3 I have just left floating in the pocket.
