Disney Hollywood Studios | One Magical Night Part 01
Hi there! We are getting so close to the end of this album and I am so excited to finish it up. This layout is one of two layouts about our really awesome night at Hollywood Studios on New Year’s Eve. Have a look at my process here:
I began the layout as always, with photos and journaling cards.
Then I added my embellishments and journaling to bring it all together, here:
The enlarged photo of the magical Mickey hat takes center stage here. I chose to use my monthly kits from Gossamer Blue and Freckled Fawn as my embellishments on this layout. The camera is from the Project Mouse Classic kit; it is one of the pieces included in the elements pack that I have printed and cut using my Silhouette.
Because the photo is printed at 9×12, there are three 3×4 pockets on one side. I chose journaling cards from Project Mouse that were very neutral and have lots of white space.
I wanted to repeat the star elements from the magical hat, so the star card is repeated three times across the layout. I added a few embossed stars as well.
I also decided to blend gold and silver both on this layout. Silver has been carried through the whole album but this photo seems to have gold stars on the Mickey hat, so both it is. The Freckled Fawn washi tape is perfect!
The Gossamer Blue kit this month included pieces from the We R Memory Keepers Urban Chic collection, so I added a few things for a pop of color. Here is one more look at this side of the layout:
The right side of the layout shows photos of each of our children individually. With the girls I added a half circle and a glitter enamel embellishment.
Strike a pose seemed perfect for these photos. These black and white embellishments layer so well on top of the Project Mouse cards!
For the boys I added these pieces from the element pack in the Project Mouse Classic kit, and they are printed on vellum. The hearts are from the Urban Chic collection.
This girl! She is all sass!
Here is the star card again, this time treated a little differently. I added a few tiny enamel dots to the stars, and layered the embellishment on top.
One last photo, and one last vellum ticket. So very simple and fun!
Just two more process videos for this album to go!!!! See you tomorrow for TBT!

Krista you are soooo sweet!!! 🙂 I think it would be awesome to do a tutorial on printing on several different mediums – I have been playing around with it a little bit, trying to learn how to do it myself! It’s so fun and the element packs are AWESOME!!!!!
