December Daily 2021 Foundation Pages ft Crate Paper Busy Sidewalks
![]()
Hi friends and welcome back to more Foundation Pages in my December Daily 2021 album! Today I am working with the beautiful patterned papers from Crate Paper Busy Sidewalks. I know I am not alone in looking forward every year to their gorgeous collections, am I? For my layout today I wanted to create a very simple wreath using one punch – a triangle punch! If you’d like to see more pages from this album, check out this link: December Daily 2021.
I couldn’t believe how beautiful this page turned out! It was a bit of a job punching all the triangles, but the end result was more than worth it! I chose a variety of colors and patterns for the wreath, and used both A-side and B-sides. Once I had them all punched, it came together so quickly. I had created a series of concentric circles using a good old faithful protractor. That formed the base of my wreath, and then I adhered those triangles around the circle over and over again.

You could alternate your patterns in a pattern, so the same colors showed in the same places around your wreath. I’ve made mine wonderfully random and colorful! I also added in some vellums. There was a vellum with the Busy Sidewalks collection but I’ve set that aside for something else. For this page I used a simple gold dot and another hand-written vellum (both from Michael’s). Once I had all the circles filled out, I went back and slid a few more triangles in where it looked sparse.

Aren’t those some delicious layers? This was so satisfying to create, I hope you’ll be inspired to try it too! The really awesome thing about pages like this is that I seriously cannot wait to complete it sometime in December. Adding photo, story, and a beautiful number will be so much fun! Till then, see you back here again soon!
