December Daily 2019 | My Reason Why Page

Hello Lovelies and welcome back to my December Daily 2019! Today I am sharing my Reason Why Page with you, using Ali Edwards and Paislee Press December Daily kits. Follow my process below.

So last video we talked about getting back into it, about photo organizing, and then in my video I talked about my next steps, which were to assign stories to the pages in my album, printing photos, and then finishing out the pages. Whew! I am so happy to be working on my pages now, and actually am thankful for the time I have had to celebrate and make memories. Now to record them!

I decided to work with some of my Ali Edwards products I purchased last year. I had a photo of myself from back around the beginning of December, as a way of including myself in my album and showing that these are my stories. I added just the tiniest chipboard word strip, and then also added the Tidings card next to it. I was drawn to this card for the graphic words and these pretty colors! I adhered the tiniest wooden star for just the smallest bit of embellishing.

For my 4×6 pocket I started with the gold foiled December card. This was from the Paislee Press mini kit in 2018 (remember?!) and I have always just held on to it because it’s one of my favorites! I went through my stash looking for a card to use along with it that had lines for journaling, and layered these both on top of the red patterned paper. The journal cards were cut down to 3×3. I added just a chipboard word sentiment and the puffy word Magic, and those really set the tone for my journaling. This year is all about the magic!
