Hi guys! Ok I have to admit I am having a tiny bit of panic because next week is Thanksgiving! And I am not done with my Foundation Pages in my December Album! But it really is ok.
Today I have been so fortunate to have my December album featured on the Sahlin Studio blog! I do hope you will head over to see a very cool write-up of my whole process at this point, all in one place: Sahlin Studio Blog.
I also wanted to share a bit of these pages here, so have a look at my process video:
Ok, so we learned that Alan has to travel to Germany from the 26th of November until the 8th of December! Of course this meant I had to reevaluate my album (if you are a die hard December fan you will understand) because I think it would be awkward to open the album on the first of December and Alan not be there! It made me quite sad to think about that, actually, so I decided I will start my album the day after Thanksgiving so he will be in it for the first two days! So here are the first few days:
Here is November 28, which is opposite the 27th in the album, so it coordinates with the 27th.
I know this will not be an easy trip – they never are – but I do hope that this Oh What Fun card will remind me to find ways that day to do fun things and have a good time!
Day 29. Notice I still used my December stamps even though this is still technically November. I will add November somewhere, probably on the photo itself or something, but I consider this a December countdown so December is absolutely ok here.
This card was created by bringing all of the word strips from Oh What Fun into Photoshop and resizing them to fit onto the 3×4 card. I love how it ties all the colors together!
My favorite thing about November 30 is the tag, from the digital elements in the collection, with the wooden 30 layered on top. This collection coordinates beautifully with wood embellishments.
I am so excited to fill these pages with our memories, and even more excited that you are following along with me! I do hope you are feeling inspired, and if you are creating I would love to see what you are doing!
