***Citrus Twist Design Team*** Layout Share for March 2019

Hello Lovelies! Today I wanted to share the layouts I have created for the Citrus Twist design team that I created in the month of March. I am loving being on this team and love creating with the beautiful Life Crafted Kits each month! I hope you will scroll all the way down, where I have a bonus process video for you!

I could not wait to begin working in the Life Crafted album. This is a navy travelers notebook sized binder that is perfect for standard size layouts. One of the things I love about it is that even though I love travelers notebook layouts, I really want them to feel more permanent. This album is perfect for that and gives those layouts a beautiful home. These albums will look beautiful on your shelf!

I began my album with an introduction layout about who I am and how I plan to use my album. I created this adorable little pocket that was included in the March Life Crafted Kit, adding a bit of embellishments and a journal card to go inside.

I added a photo of myself and lots of tags, die cuts, and labels along the edge of the photo, all of which tell the story of how this is a new chapter in my life. You can view my blog post for Citrus Twist via the link here.

I also shared a fun bonus layout on my IGTV this month.

 

I was inspired by the Butterfly cut file that is part of the Subscriber content on the Citrus Twist website. I cut the file using double sided card stock (CTMH) and backed some of the butterflies using a patterned paper from the March kit.

The other butterflies I layered cut outs using the lighter side of the butterflies. On this side the cut file is layered on top of the chevron patterned paper, so the solid card stock allows the butterflies to pop against the pattern.

 

My last layout (so far!) with the March Life Crafted Kit was a Pocket Life layout I created for October in my 2018 album. You can see the blog post on the Citrus Twist blog here.

I love using all the fun elements of the kit for pocket page layouts, and here are a few highlights.

The alphabet stickers were perfect for creating my date card and adding a working title to a photo! I also had great fun combining stamp sets to form word sentiments that help to tell the stories I wanted to tell.

I also love layering journal cards, as you can see with the blue Bits & Pieces layered over the stripe card, and then repeating that pop of blue throughout the layout.
