2022 Travelers Notebook Layout ft IMP Collab Life Stories Digital Kit
Hi friends and welcome back! Today I have a super fun, super loose travelers notebook layout to share with you. One of my favorite things about memory keeping is the chance to play with products in an unrestricted way. To just take products out of the packaging and put them down on the page without worrying about design, composition, or anything else except having fun. My layout is just that kind of page, and I hope you have fun watching it come together. You can see other travelers notebook layouts here:
As part of my memory keeping plans for this year, I wanted to create a place for fun happy layouts just like this, and the Citrus Twist Life Crafted albums are perfect. I love a good travelers notebook page! This is my introduction page for the album, and of course I had to use the In My Pocket Collab Life Stories kit for it. This kit has been designed by our in-house designers to complement our newest class, In My Pocket Collab Life Stories! We wanted to show a variety of different ways to document every day life, and this kit is perfect for this page! I chose a photo of myself and my husband, Alan, taken on Christmas Day. The journaling ended up being a list of the things I want to bring into our relationship, what we want to focus on this year in our growth together!
I kept product choices fairly simple. From the digital kit I only printed out three journaling cards, the 365 Days one is on vellum, and then two others on white card stock. The supporting products are the puffy stickers from Elle’s Studio, and the January stamp set from Studio Calico. The first thing I did was adhere my photo to the vellum card and then onto the plain white card stock background. I then stamped the Good Times Ahead at three places on the page. This was supposed to be a visual triangle, which works, but then I smudged the top stamp! No biggie, that became the home for that beautiful floral wreath.
Once I had the photo in place, and the main elements of the layout, then the fun of embellishing began! I used the snowflake stamp to add a little more background to the page, I cut apart the New Year card and just used the two word strips from that. I also brought in these fabulous puffy rainbow stickers from Elle’s Studio, because a new year needs puffy rainbow stickers, don’t you think? And then once I had placed the rainbows, it still needed a few more puffy hearts and dots.
