December Daily Album 2017 | Creating the Album Process Video!!!!

Hi everyone! Today I am finally able to share with you my process video for creating my December Daily album! One of my favorite parts of this project is making the album my very own. This year I am using the Simple Stories Merry album, along with a few embellishments from Felicity Jane and the number stickers from the Paislee Press mini kit.

I chose this album because it has a great spine size so hopefully all my pages will fit in as the month of December goes along. I also love that it has a darker pattern on it, which will show through just the tiniest bit once it is gessoed.

I applied two coats of gesso using a really old, textured brush to get as many brush strokes as possible. I apply the gesso really randomly and heavily, but even so the pattern underneath shows through just the tiniest bit.

I made sure to leave just snowflakes on the front showing through, so they are only covered with one coat of paint. Once everything was dry I added a few of the Felicity Jane patches using my hot glue gun. The date is added directly to the label holder on the spine with the Paislee Press numbers in that mini kit.
