Project Life 2016 Week 11 | Pink Paislee Fancy Free
Hi friends, today I have a Project Life layout to show you, created in the Project Life App and then embellished using Pink Paislee’s brand new collection, Fancy Free! This is Paige Evans’ very first collection, and I am so happy to work with these beautiful papers and embellishments. Take a peek at my process video:
Ok, here is the layout I created in the Project Life App:
Two things I wanted to document this week: the signs of spring all around us, and my son’s continued healing on his face. Oh, and the infamous Ugly Cake my husband made!
I started with the main photo, which is the main driveway coming into our neighborhood. This photo became the home base for the week number.
The arrow is actually a bit of scrapbooking serendipity – if you saw on the process video I actually dropped the W onto the photo in that most unfortunate spot, and some of the adhesive remained. But I like to highlight the dates of the week on the calendar card, and the arrow just fit perfectly. I also used an E and an upside down 3 to spell WEEK, because I didn’t want to use all the E’s or all the 3’s.
Puffy stickers plus Project Life are the perfect pair, and these are so awesome. I used this coral color twice, because it compliments the lighter turquoise on the background and within the collection itself. All the heart eyes.
Very simple and quick layout today, but stories told and photos scrapped and that makes me so happy. I’ll see you back here tomorrow!
