Disney Project Life Layout 08
Hi guys, hooray for Wednesdays because that means it’s Disney day and I love my Disney days! I love creating these layouts and love telling this story. Have a peek at my process for this week!
So here is what I started with, just photos and a few journaling cards.

I had a supplemental map from Fantasyland that I really wanted to include, because it has a great image of Beast, so I added a quick insert to house that.

So there ended up being two layouts this week. Yay!

On the left hand side I documented us going to see Mickey’s Philharmagic. As I was working on these layouts, my smallest girl Natalie stopped by my studio to see what I was up to, and she told me she totally remembered wearing those glasses and she really loved them! I love that she remembers that and I love that this album will always bring that back for her!

I had one re-entry Fastpass that I had saved so I made sure to include it here. It is backed simply on a polka dot card from the Midnight Core Edition.

This cursive mouse card might just be my favorite from the Sahlin Studios Project Mouse collection! I am loving the simplicity here.

I used a few more filler cards in the 3×4 pockets. Nothing complicated here. Just trying to get photos and stories told.

I had this fantastic map from Fantasyland that just had to be included. I adore the image of Beast, so I cut it up to fit into the divided pockets and added a bit of vellum to the edge.

This is the back side of this map, which then becomes the left side of the next layout. Our adventure on this side was through the Journey of the Sea ride with Ariel.
I had two photos I chose to tell this story – they aren’t very clear photos and not the best lighting, but that is ok. I chose the Magic card as the title card, unembellished.
I added my journaling on the smaller 3×4 cards, just sharing about riding this ride. I also wrote about seeing Gaston in this part of the park. And I really love this one little flair button layered on the tag, with a couple of words stamped on top. So easy and so cute!
I didn’t do much other than my journaling here, and the star card I left as it is. This is part of my promise to myself to actually leave some cards un-embellished, and I am loving that.
For my journaling on this card, I messy cut some washi tape in half and then I wrote about how this part of Magic Kingdom was really still under construction while we were there. So parts of it we didn’t really get to see, and I definitely want to go back to this part of the park!
So that is my layout for today! See you tomorrow with a layout from my 2014 Project Life!
