Hello and welcome to December 6 in my 2016 December Daily! Today I am sharing photos and the story of my cozy front door. Have a look at my process here:

I began with three photos taken after we hung our garlands on the front of the house. These are one of my favorite things to put up every year! I just love lights!

I stamped my journaling lines onto the cozy card using the stamp set from the Paislee Press mini kit. What a happy little card!

The gold foil transparency was part of the cut-apart sheet from Pinkfresh Studio Oh Joy collection. Since I had some pieces from the back showing through, I decided to cover it up with the present ephemera from the same collection. This photo was taken at night with the lights fully lit.

The number 6 tag is from last year’s Ali Edwards main kit, but I have cut it down smaller to fit in the 3×4 pocket, and added a brad and washi tape from My Mind’s Eye, and a small stamped sentiment from the Paislee Press stamp set.
