Disney Project Life Layout 06
Hi guys, so yay it’s Disney day! I am always excited every week to pull this album out and to complete another layout. Today is Layout six in my Disney album and it’s a fun one. The photos are of three of our children who were playing in a Tiki play area in the park while one of our children rode the Aladdin Magic Carpet. Check out the process video:
Here is the layout with just photos and journaling cards. As you saw in the video, I had a blank page on the right side and I chose one of the patterned papers from Starshine by Shimelle to complete that page.
Here is the completed layout, with embellishments and journaling:
So if you have ever wondered what it would look like to just have one photo in a Project Life page, now you know because I did it here. I think sometimes we put too much pressure on ourselves to fill as many pockets as possible with photos, but then think nothing of creating dozens of traditional layouts with just one photo! So here is what it looks like to just have one photo. I rather like how it turned out!
I adore how this title card came out. The base card is from Project Life Honey Edition core kit, with embellishments from Starshine on top. The silver star, however, is left over from my Ali Edwards December Daily kit from 2015!
I mentioned this in the video, but I will just repeat myself: I am in head over heels in love with those acrylic shapes from the Starshine collection! They are just awesome.
Underneath the top photo is a little journaling and a simple card from Sahlin Studios. Notice I haven’t done much “magic” or “castle” themed stuff – this is not a kitchy Disney album because I have to admit I get a little weary of all that! I can’t do an over-themed album, just me personally, because I think you get the gist from the photos themselves.
I added this yellow card to bring in a bit more yellow here, and then more journaling on the turquoise card. I really do like how these collections all come together with these happy colors, but still tastefully done!
That’s it for Disney this week, thanks so much for following along!!! Let me know how you like it so far, ok?

Thanks for sharing another great video. Love all your ideas. This is motivating me to keep up with my Disney album too. You mentioned in the video that you weren’t sure of the exact name of this place. It’s "Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room" in Adventureland. And, it’s right across from the Magic Carpet ride. We went there for the penny press when we visited. Hope this helps! 🙂

Oh my goodness, thank you so much! I searched the entire internet trying to figure it out (seriously, I found the end of the net, LOL) so yay, now I can add it somewhere to that layout! You are awesome! And keep going – I will keep going too. 😀
