Blog Announcement | Introducing Our New Blog Team for 2022!

Hello friends and welcome back! Today is another exciting announcement day, as there are so many wonderful things happening here and 2022 is promising to be filled with tons of inspiration, beautiful products, and tons of fun! Last week we announced our In-House Designers for In My Pocket, and today we want to announce our 2022 In My Pocket Blog Team! The Blog Team will be working with our designers’ products to create and share their layouts and projects each month right here. They are so very talented and I know you’re going to love seeing their work. Let’s get to know them!

In My Pocket Blog Team Ashley Krueger
Hey friends! I am Ashley and I’m excited and honored to be back working with Theresa and her amazing designers. Right now, I am really loving working in 6×8 albums where I can incorporate pocket pages and art journal pages all in one place.  My crafty plans for 2022 also include revisiting and completing yearly pocket albums from the last few years. I currently live in the rural mountains of Eastern Arizona with my husband, our two young children and our formerly feral barn cats. When I am not sneaking moments to work on creative projects, I also enjoy experimenting in the kitchen, exploring the forest, taking Disneyland trips and road tripping to the family farm in Northern California. I actively share our adventures and my work on Instagram. That said, you can find me at all of the following social media links:

IMP Blog Team Spring 2022 Jill Kane

Hi all! I’m Jill and I’m excited to be a part of the 2022 Blog Contributor Team. I’m a newbie to creative team work, but I’ve been collecting stories, photos and paper forever. I’ve been memory keeping since 1999. Thanks to Theresa, our talented designers and contributors for inspiring us! I look forward to learning from all of you.

I find the most creative joy in combining my stash with newer products and I will bring that to the pages I build this spring. You’ll see how I begin my take on Ali Edwards’ One Little Word project. It’s my favorite annual project. I’ll also share stories about my Mom and Dad passing on in 2018 and 2019 and how my family moved through the tasks and feelings of sorting through their 60+ years of life in my childhood home in Mendota Heights, MN. Spoiler: My now husband, Chip, and I purchased that home in 2021 and we’re making it ours! It’s been an adventure merging households, selling two homes in 2020 and getting married in our backyard in September 2021. I plan to document in 6×8 binder albums and a traveler’s notebook.

My 9-5 career is in nonprofit fundraising. When I’m not memory keeping, I’m playing with art journaling, stencils, paint, gardening, DIY/decorating, collecting baskets and all things organizing. I’m also wondering when I’ll take a trip in a plane again…hopefully 2022. Outside is probably my happiest place (don’t tell my craft room). Chip made me a cat mom, something I never expected to fall in love with. Our sweet Eliza is simply the best and she completes our family.

I’m Maribeth and I’m so happy and grateful to be back working with Theresa, the talented designers, and this amazing creative team! I’m a Seattle native who spent 14 years in Texas but recently moved back home to the Pacific Northwest. I started scrapbooking as a tween but didn’t get serious until I discovered Project Life and pocket scrapbooking in 2012. I’ve been a hardcore documenter ever since. I like a lot of words on my pages so I’m a hybrid scrapper (best of both worlds!). I enjoy splashing around paint, keeping an art journal, traditional journal, and I keep a digital planner on my iPad. I’m a big fan of pretty stationary, meditation, a good set of ink pens, and photography. I live with my husband, stepson, and our new Yorkshire Terrier puppy Cash.

Hi everyone,I’m Melinda Staley and I’m excited to be a part of the 2022 IMP blog team. I discovered scrapbooking at a craft fair when my oldest was about 6 months old way back in 1996. I’ve dabbled in lots of crafty hobbies since I was a teen- sewing and cross-stitch being the main ones – but scrapbooking has been my first and foremost love since I found it. I started my scrapbooking adventures in paper, but I’ve been a part of the digital scrapbooking world since it began. I migrated over to being mostly digital over a couple of years when I got my first digital camera 19 years ago. I still have my copious paper supplies and pull them out occasionally for specific projects. I have digiscrapped in Photoshop Elements since version 2 and I love to share how I did things through tutorials. I’ve scrapped all sorts of styles over my 24 years of scrapbooking, but I love multi-photo pages most of all whether they be ‘full’ or quirky or lean towards clean – because I have so many photos to scrap!

My husband and I have 5 kids ages 16-25 and a cat and a dog. Home can be full and noisy at times when everyone is home, though with the two older girls married now and living in other states that doesn’t happen nearly as often as it used to. When I’m not scrapbooking you can probably find me hanging out with my daughter’s high school band, as I am a member of the band booster club board and a band nerd myself.

In My Pocket Collab Travel Class | Announcing Our Guest Contributors

Hi! I’m Meg but you may know me better online as TravelScrapSleepRepeat. Born and raised in Wisconsin, I’ve spent most of my adult life living in Wales with my boyfriend Ken. I started scrapbooking when I was 12, levelled up by working in a local scrapbook store at 16, and never stopped documenting.  I’m primarily a chronological scrapper and I transitioned entirely to pocket scrapping in 2010.  As a nomad at heart, 2020 has grounded me indefinitely and I’m using all my creative outlets to get through. I am so honored to be part of the support community at Light The Path in 2021 and embrace the opportunity for growth as a person and as a maker.
